The tool’s crimp nests are color coded to allow the user to quickly match the correct terminal. The mating mechanism on the tool prevents the jaws from slipping or mis-alignment. Del City’s ratchet crimp tool features a long handle to make it easier to crimp with a minimal amount of force required.  A release switch near the handle is easy to understand and use, operating with a simple push towards the crimp nest.

The new ratchet crimp tool is designed for heat shrink terminals and can also be utilized for standard insulated terminals. Del City also offers a variety of heat shrink, solder, multiple wire and step-down butt connectors that will perform impeccably with the crimp tool.
