Installing a B&M Shift Improver kit is simple. You just drop the transmission pan and take out the valve body and stock separator plate. Then you put the kits separator plate in its place replace the valve body and bolt up the pan. If your kit requires some other modifications theyll be just as easy. Each kit has two stages to fit your needs: RV/Towing and Street/Strip. Provides crisp shifts on any stock automatic transmission Elimination of soft sluggish shifts shift overlap and excess wear on clutches and bands due to slippage Improves transmission life Transmission removal not requiredThe Shift Improver Kit is our least expensive and simplest to install transmission performance kit. The transmission pan is removed and the valve body is taken out. The stock separator plate is replaced or modified reinstall the valve body filter and pan and your done! In some cases other minor modifications may also be made. The B&M Shift Improver Kit can be installed in one of two modes. You can select which mode you want at time of installation.Stage 1.
