This converter will only fit V8s and retains the lockup feature. Will not fit 4 or 6 cylinder engines (exc. 4.3L).This 12 in. converter has a 1900 to 2100 rpm stall speed range--500 to 600 rpm more than stock. Not recommended for big blocks. This converter is fully balancedHigh stall torque converters can build extra heat. Install a supplementary transmission oil cooler to control this extra heat or premature transmission failure could occur.Similar in performance characteristics to the Holeshot series the Tork Master is B&Ms lowest cost performance torque converter. The Tork Master is an excellent all-around performance street converter.
