BD Diesel's Turbo Guards can prevent this surging. The Turbo Guards' blow-off valve protects your stock or aftermarket turbo from surging and the resulting compressor wheel explosions. These new, advanced Turbo Guard kits have a microprocessor with six different custom settings that are tuned to your application, including Valve Opening Pressure, Valve Opening Duration, Activation Sensitivity, Clutch Cancellation, and more. Your truck's throttle position sensor is used to activate the Turbo Guards, which results in a fully dynamically controlled blow-off valve. TPS/APPS-equipped, automatic, and standard trucks can benefit from these units. Toggle switches and microswitches are no longer needed with the new Turbo Guards.
