Bell Racing Vortex FA helmets give you maximum safety and ventilation. Based on the original Vortex, these Bell Racing Vortex FA (Forced Air) helmets are the helmets of choice for drivers using an external cooling system. These helmets feature a large eyeport and a lightweight design. The Bell Racing Vortex FA helmets were developed with involvement and feedback from top Nextel Cup drivers. Their advanced left side ventilation port, mesh face piece, and top vents maximize airflow through the helmets for a cool, comfortable ride. In addition, the Vortex FA helmets feature Bell's new SRV friction shield system. This new system has a slide mechanism that allows the driver to adjust the tension on the shield, allowing for multiple opening positions. When properly adjusted and in the locked position, the SRV system helps reduce the possibility of the shield opening during an impact.
