The only problem is that when there is a greater demand on the electrical system, such as a wide-open throttle blast, the alternator falls a little short. The V-Plus boosters are designed to overcome voltage taper at wide-open throttle by stepping up the alternator voltage by 2.2 V at 70 percent throttle.
