* 1974-91 AMC engines: cylinder heads must be machined and CRN-99156-16 3/8 in. rocker arm studs and aftermarket pushrods must be installed. * 1966-2000 Ford engines: cylinder heads must be machined and CRN-99156-16 3/8 in. rocker arm studs and CRN-36650-1 pushrod guidplates and hardened steel aftermarket pushrods must be installed or use CRN-36655-16 conversion kit on 1977-2000 pedestal mount cylinder heads (no machining required).Cranes Gold Race Rocker set reduces operating friction so well it can give you up to 25 extra horsepower over your stock pivot ball rockers. In fact Crane is so proud of this rocker set they gave it a special gold anodized finish. Just look at what Crane puts in to them: * CNC machined from super-strong extruded billet aluminum for total strength and reliability. * Precision needle bearing fulcrum to reduce friction. * 8620 steel alloy roller tip for reliable easy valve operation. * Special oil inlets to the bearings and roller assure reliability. * Slotted body to provide extra stud clearance. * Includes 4140 chromemoly allen head adjustment nuts.
