| Kip Carie | 4 | Thrush turbo Universal 2-1/4 inlet/outlet offcenter in center out: I am running this muffler on my 2002 saturn sc2, the car has intake, header, cat delete, with stock resinator and replaced piping with 2-1/4 pipe. the prodect works exactley as it is described and known for. the performance increase would be hard for me to gauge due to the other parts on the car, but Im postive the delta flow design alows better flow from OEM mufflers. With the modifications on my exhaust the car sounds a little \\\\\\\"zingy\\\\\\\" upon acceleration but during cruise it is VERY quite almost unoticable. I had this muffler before I bought the OBX header and it was very quite during normal driving, even when floored it wasnt really loud, So all in all, If your looking for a cheap way to help your exhaust flow without changing sound to much, I would recommend the thrush turbo. Keep in mind that if you further modify your exhaust the muffler WILL sound off on acceleration. Im not sure how this muffler reacts on 6 or 8 cylinders, but this is my experience with a four cylinder. |
