Features include high-quality stainless steel 2.02" inta ke and 1.60" exhaust valves, choice of 64cc or 70cc combustion chambers and high flow 185cc intake and 65cc exhaust ports. Intake and exhaust runners are hand blended in the bowl area and the intake entries and exhaust exits are cnc profiled for increased air-flow. These heads include adjustable rocker stud and guide plate set-up for use with adjustable rockers. The casting is manufactured of A356 aluminum and heat treated to T6 spec for superior quality. An extra-thick 58" deck and Heli-coil threaded inserts offer improved durability. Performer RPM cylinder heads are available with straight or angled spark plug configuration to fit a variety of exhaust applications. Made in USA. Bolt-on power right out of the box. These Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads feature threaded inserts in the rocker studs and exhaust manifold bolt holes for superior strength and durability plus hardened seats bronze valve guides and fully machined valve cover rails for a more consistent gasket seal. They offer improved power throughout the rpm range for greater throttle response and top-end horsepower. The intake and exhaust runners are CNC-machine profiled for superior flow and performance.

Designed for non-emissions 302-400 c.i.d. engines up to 1986 this head made 420 horsepower with the Performer RPM Power Package for small block Chevys. It has straight plugs to clear most types of exhaust headers and the 70cc chamber can be used to raise compression on later engines with 76cc heads without changing pistons. Its 170cc intake runners and 60cc exhaust runners improve flow dramatically over stock heads for an excellent street combination.

Heads must be drilled for steam holes when used on 400 engines.
