These Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads feature threaded inserts in the rocker studs and exhaust manifold bolt holes for superior strength and durability plus hardened seats bronze valve guides and fully machined valve cover rails for a more consistent gasket seal. They offer improved power throughout the rpm range for greater throttle response
and top-end horsepower. The intake and exhaust runners are CNC-machine profiled for superior flow and performance.
Designed for 302 327 350 and 400 c.i.d. engines this head has the same powerful design and combustion chambers as the straight plug Performer RPM head plus an exhaust crossover passage for emissions equipment compatibility (E.O. #D514-46). Its dyno-matched to work with the Performer Power Package and provide outstanding street performance.
Head must be drilled for steam holes when used on 400 engines.
Must have at least a 4 in. bore.
