Vortec go-power. Performer RPM Vortec intake manifolds are based on Edelbrocks highly successful Performer family. Theyre designed for street rods marine applications and a host of engine swaps using small block Chevy V8s with 1996 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron heads or Edelbrocks E-Tec aluminum heads. They accept single square-bore carbs only and have an external water bypass boss machined into the front of the water crossover for use on 1996 and later Vortec production engines.
