Description: Edelbrock’s Performer X turbo system is engineered specifically for 1996-00 Honda Civic SOHC VTECH D16Y8 engines. Like all Edelbrock products, the Performer X Turbo Kit comes complete with all components needed for installation, and is the most complete kit available for Civics. Edelbrock has designed the Performer X Turbo kit to provide more than a 60 percent power boost, from 105 horsepower to 170 hp, measured at the wheels. The Garrett T28 ball-bearing turbocharger comes pre-assembled as one unit with a Ni-resist cast exhaust manifold, a cast iron exhaust elbow and inlet oil and water lines for the simplest possible installation. The system includes a high-performance Performer X intake manifold with four extra injectors and a separate electronic controller to add fuel under boosted conditions. It also has an oversized Spearco intercooler and Tial blow-off valve. The Edelbrock exhaust manifold and elbow are designed for maximum flow at high-velocity for quicker turbo spool-up. Edelbrock has included an AutoMeter boost gauge with A-pillar mount pod, and pre-assembled Russell oil, water and fuel lines to make this the most complete kit on the market.
