For really serious race engines. Fel-Pro Performance Composite valve-cover gaskets are for really serious race engines--Nextel Cup, Pro Stock, Fuel Dragster, Funny Car, and the like. Their steel core provides rigidity and added resistance to being sucked in or blown out, and the special composite material that surrounds the core provides a rugged seal, with good torque retention for the mounting bolts. A silicone coating over it all improves sealing and eases removal.
