This part carries CARB E.O. Number D-164-7 for use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles.The paint used on these headers is for rust prevention during shipping only--it will burn off the header shortly after installation.With Hooker Super Competition headers the objective has always been to make the maximum horsepower possible and put it at the optimum point in the power curve. This set of headers is tuned with equal length primary tubes to create an optimum pressure between the intake and exhaust system. Premium exhaust gaskets and new mounting bolts are also included.
