Get the added sealing power of an O-Ring. In many fluid systems--cooling, oiling, and so on--the junctions of fittings and adapters depend on either metal-to-metal interference or the actual seating of mating surfaces against one another for sealing. That's not completely the case for Meziere AN O-Ring to AN adapters. They combine a reliable tapered AN seat on one end with the extra sealing power of AN threads and an O-Ring on the other, for even better sealing. These fittings are available in a variety of sizes and bright anodized finishes.
