Installation notes: * Since copper head gaskets are a solid material they will not compress; theres no need to retorque them after installation. * Its necessary to apply a thin layer of silicone or Hylomar to both sides of the head gasket during installation on engines with functional cooling systems.Designed for use in all high performance applications that require an extra measure of sealing these precision CNC-machined solid copper head gaskets offer precise bore and stud hole alignment for a drop-on fit. With proper handling and installation the gaskets are reusable for many engine rebuilds. Plus they e totally acceptable for street use as long as a thin bead of silicone is applied on both sides of the gasket around all the water passageway holes.
