It is important that the proper pick-up be used with this particular pan.Uses pickup MIL-18430.This special off-road pan is for 2WD and 4WD rear sump trucks and 1966 and later Broncos. The deep sump in the rear is for extra capacity and it features horizontal baffles for increased oil control. It also has a dirt and watertight Ford-style screw-in dipstick receiver and a drain plug in each sump for total oil drainage.
