MSD distributor rotors are molded from high-quality, voltage-insulating Rynite or alkyd materials to resist carbon tracking, while ensuring that the ignition spark reaches the spark plug terminals. For optimum voltage-carrying capabilities, the rotor tips are made from low-resistance brass.
