Replacement parts: * Distributor cap: MSD-8431 * Distributor rotor: MSD-8462 * Distributor gear: MSD-85852 * Cap hold down clamps: MSD-8493This MSD Pro-Billet distributor is the finest performance and racing distributor available. The distributor housing is CNC machined from 6061-T6-billet aluminum to within +/- 1/1000 in. producing a housing thats stable lightweight and less prone to flex. It also has an upper-sealed ball bearing to guide the distributor shaft preventing shaft wobble at high rpms O-rings at the bottom of the CNC-machined billet aluminum base for improved oil control. The shaft is polished and QPQ coated to minimize friction and to allow the distributors to operate through 10000 rpm. Another important feature is the adjustable mechanical advance assembly. It allows you to accurately and easily modify the advance curve to match your specific application. Simply changing the advance springs and stop bushings can achieve a variety of different timing curves. Sold complete with a race rotor and alkyd cap.
