Its alternating open lug shoulder grip spurs aid in increased traction and self-cleaning. The Xterrains extra thick side wall treatment helps resist scrapes and cuts maximizes a biting edge side wall for increased traction on rocks or in mud. Dualguardª Polyester Body Plies consist of thick 2 ply polyester construction combined with a blend of dual side wall rubber allowing for maximum puncture resistance with total flexibility when using lower air pressure off road without excessive heat build up. Two layers of opposed-angle steel belting spans the tread area for maximum puncture resistance.
