The axles are made from a super-tough, induction-hardened alloy, and many feature more splines for extreme duty, and dual bolt patterns for upgrading to larger studs. Plus, all axles are made using a cold-formed, rolled spline process that produces axle splines that are 35 percent stronger than cut splines.
